Vertical Oscillator and Output Board:

This is the vertical oscillator and output board. This board is fairly reliable, but fails from time to time. If one of the LV power supply fuses blow continually, I’ve had this board short out.

Two critical adjustments on this set are the master R and B size controls. Do a ‘55’ code, to turn off the registration, and bring upt eh crosshatch test pattern. Adjust these trimpots to adjust the overall height of the R and B images to match the size of the green tube. That will minimize convergence drift over time.

The toggle switch is to be set according to the Ampro manual. This ensures that the convergence controls work correctly depending on whether you’re set for floor or ceiling mount. Note of course that the convergence connectors on the yoke board also need to be set correctly as per the manual.
