The below image shows the back of a typical Ampro 8 or 9” set. The wired remote control plugs into the ‘host’ connector on the back of the CPU board. The ‘slave’ connection is used to loop the remote commands to a second set as required.

The RGB card uses a composite sync connector, the V sync input is on a separate card as shown below, or can also be located on the video/s-video card.

All Ampros can be switched from 110 to 220 volts. Take the power cord out of the AC input connector, and pry out the plastic panel located between the Ac input cord and the power switch (there’s a small notch in the plastic that will accept a small screwdriver). The 110/220 volt jumper will pull out, and rotate it so that the correct voltage is shown in the small window in the covering plastic piece. Note to change the internal fuse to the correct value if you’re using the set on a different voltage.

The LV supply fan MUST be kept clean to allow cool operation of the LVPS. Clean the filter (removed on the above picture) regularly for good air flow.
