Hi,

I own an Electrohome ECP 3100 projector and while I was adjusting the R115 (the blue video null control) on the "video control" module as advised in the service manual, the H inhibit LED on the "V. Def & H. Reg" module turned on and shut of the CRTs. This light remains on when I power the projector on and off, even when I reset the R115 to it's starting position. Adjusting R135 on the "V. Def & H. Reg" module does not solve this problem (as was suggested in the service manual).

Are there any other troubleshooting tips for this particular problem or should I consider board replacements or other options at this point?

Curtis

TV/Projector: All of them!

I emailed you, but for the benefit for others, the video board should not affect the H deflection. I'd say something else failed in the set. One thing I didn't mention: Check all of the connectors on the deflection board under each tube. If one of the connectors is loose, that can trigger the H fail.
