I'm in the process of redoing my set up for my xg1352. I have built a new mount and was working on the mechanical set up today. I've centered the rasters left to right and the are centered well on the screen but they seem to want to be high on the tube face to center it top to bottom on the screen. I've measured the projector and it's square to the screen.

I'm guessing the mount is slighty low for the screen, but I can't raise it up due to ceiling height. Should I tilt the projector slighly so I can center the raster or not worry about it.

Thanks
Kevin

If the raster is centered top to bottom and the linearity is right with no position corrections then your not mounted right or the screen isnt. You use the screen center measurement noted in the install manual. If you tilt out of level you will be giving up some top to bottom focus or the balance of it. You might be able to make up a bit from lens tab adjustment but you will need to spend some time on it. Use green only when doing this.

Check your centering if your using a 16:9 screen 1:78 against a movie in 2:35 format to see if the image is centered top to bottom after linearity corrections.

Doug
I'm happy with right to left, the projector falls right in the middle of the screen and the projector is completely level. The image just falls low of center so I've had to move the rasters up. I'm 99% sure my mount is low, but I'm not to sure how worried I should be about it.
Is it better to have the raster high on the tube and the projector level or the raster centered and the projector tilted a few degress and screw around with the lens tabs.
Thanks
