The lack of focus and astigmatism issues would suggest it is a nice CRT and not a digital. My guess it is a CRT. Which one?

Nope not a CRT. It's digital.

All I can say is that those nifty new LED billboards I see popping up around town are a lot more easier on the eye than the conventional boards.

Where did you get that? Skydome during the Auto Show? My son was there and took over 500 pictures, and I think he took the same one as you!

I've never made that connection Bary. Guess you have to NOT be from Toronto to see that.

Yep that's where it's from. I spent alot of the show looking at the new display technology they had there.

That first shot makes for an very cool desktop image. See digital's ARE usefull for something.

I took around 240, on film. I did so much up and down squating while shooting that I blew out my thy muscle. I couldn't walk up stairs for 3 days. At least my knee's didn't hurt, I was wearing knee pads the whole time ( here come the jokes )

That's an LED screen... think huge-ass plasma but with discrete components for pixels.

Those things are getting to be pretty amazing... that one is quite lousy relatively speaking. The new ones in times square now look about as good from 20' away as high end plasmas look from 5'. Fantastic blacks, too - actually as good as CRTs as they just turn the elements off. Smile
