FINALY someone's doing it right. Too bad their recording quality wasn't the greattest on those two albums.
I'd still like to have them though.

I saw them the first Month of the US tour when that album first came out Cliff was still alive. It was at a bar in Milwaukee called the Eagles club. I was 15 at a bar watching this cool new metal band. All that was on the stage was them, Their instruments, white lights ONLY, smoke, and Marshall Amps. There was only a couple hundred people there. WASP opened for them. It was the only time I ever saw Metallica. What a blast.

I won front row center tickets to the "In THe Round Show" in Toronto. this was the show immediately before James got burned at teh show in Montreal.
It was very cool. He walked around teh fence at ground level and shook my hand.
The only bummer thing about it was that it damaged my hearing.

I saw them as well, Firerbird raceway park in Phoenix , Justice for all tour. Luckilly for me no hearing damage. Oh and BTW, I have the Jump in the Fire on an original LP, not a bad sounding record at all. IT's a very raw kind of garage metal sound but that seems to realy fit.

I've seen them hand out ear plugs at Metalica concerts. I've also seen people turn them down. Crazy people.

I wish,
I spent half that concert with my head turned and a finger shoved in the ear facing the stage.
i had the Big PA speakers about 4 feet in front of me under the stage.
