But, just imagine how good the coat hangers would have sounded if they had been cryogenically treated!!! (that means put in the freezer for the uninitiated).

I have no idea what coat hangers are made of exactly but I would think they are mostly a cheap grade of steel which of course is not what you want your audio to be passing through. I guess that means that the monster cables are no better than a piece of cheap steel wire.
Cryogenic treating is done by immersing the material in liquid nitrogen. That buddy of mine from many years ago who owned his speaker company swore by liquid nitrogen for treating his driver components.
