|
|
Hi,
We have a problem with our RCVDS 05 connected to a Barco 1208s, we've never used it since buying it from Ebay about a year ago! This puts us in an akward position to return it. When it fires up, the is an LED with "-" showing, and that's all it does, all buttons on the front panel won't work. If I try to select a source on the projector, it says Communication Error! We've connected it to Port 1 on the projector (which says 800-peripheral), is there anything we're missing or how could we debug this?
Thanks
Robin

download the manual for your projector from the set-up tips and manuals section, the connections for your switcher are illustrated.

Here's a link to the RCVDS-05 Owner's Manual:

Maybe Kal can add it to the Barco page (with Curt's permission).

hey Robin
what are you running out the back end to the projector? I can't remember what port 1 is.
I can check mine when I get home tonight.
when is shows "-" is just means thats you haven't choosen a port yet? I have mine on 5 so to get that it would be 05
if you have a barco remote it will work on the unit as well.

Thanks everybody, I'll have to check it tomorrow. And thank you so much for the owners manual, that helps a lot as I couldn't find it anywhere!

I have seen them go for $25-100 US on Ebay, all depending on the types and number of cards installed. It has been a while since I have seen one hit a $100 but they are fewer and far between than 12 months ago.
