The Retro 801s that had the green tube short out is now blurry. The green tube shorted out and shut the whole thing down. I now have replaced the green tube but the focus is no wheres near as sharp as it was. I could understand a high hour tube being soft but all three tubes are now soft.
The focus adjusters are about midpoint and will go allot softer in both directions. But with them at the best setting they are softer than they were before the tube shorted. It still has a decent picture but even the owner notices it is not as sharp as it was.
What could cause it to now be soft?
