Hi,

Right now i'm enjoying a 1080i picture from my PS3 (only bluray) trough HDFury on port 3 of a BG 808.Nice picture quality, only downside is the well known picture shift to the left.Playing with phase, raster shift and horizontal width did the trick a bit, still not 100%.
Because i already own a scaler (Cinemateq Picture Optimizer Plus II-SDI) for my SD-DVD collection, i want to use it with my PS3 in order to be able to change the porch settings. The problem is, i'm a little bit lost regarding the best connection and i can beter ask your advice before buying an RTC 2200, yet to come TC1500 or whatever.
Cinemateq inputs:
2x SDI
2x component
2x scart
2x S-video
2x composite
Cinemateq outputs:
1x DVI-D
1x component
1x RGB (5xBNC)
1x VGA
There are also 2x bypass inputs:
5x BNC-will bypass only to 5xBNC out
VGA-will bypass only to VGA out.
What you guys will do in my situation ?
Thanks in advance.

Stan

here's a link to the brochure:
http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/files/picture_optimizer_plus_ii_sdi_117.pdf

The POPIISDI is not even capable of processing HD inputs.

Iirc only the POPHD has that functionality http://www.curtpalme.com/forum/files/picture_optimizer_plus_hd_sdi_183.pdf

Allright, thanks for the input.
Trying this: PS3-->HDMI to DVI cable-->HDFury blue edition-->Cinemateq bypass input(5x BNC)-->Cinemateq bypass output(5x BNC)-->RGBHV cable-->Barco port 5, will give me a beter picture then HDFury straight into port 3 ?

That's a question of Port 5 vs. Port 3.

Kal might know which is better.
