Found a set of these locally for $500.00. Is it a worthwhile investment? I'm currentyly using 20+ year old Yamaha's (don't have model number with me) that 'seem' to have lost their ooomph over the years. These are RF25's for those that don't already know. The seller says they're new.

Thanks!

Greg

Not to answer my own question but...As I research more, I'm finding it's NOT a great deal. They can be had for $399.99 a pair at walts.com. The seller I found also lists the RF25 as a 250W, 3-way. They're not from what I can see so far. They're 125W ea and only 2-way. Hmmmmmmmmm. I guess it's time to contact him and yank his chain a little bit.

Is Walts an authorized dealer? Klipsch recently cracted down on unauthorized sellers, particularly internet sellers.

I can't say. I roamed their site a bit but didn't see anything that said they are. They sell a slew of different Klipsch models tho. I did see that alot of their Klipsch products are available In Store Only.
