I should have made such a tutorial for ceiling mounted PGs in November Smile

It wasn't THAT difficult, but putting the tubes back in the ceiling mounted chassis required the assistance of another person (for about 20 minutes only).

Curt did a VERY good job with the description and the pics.

Great write up Curt,Thanks for all the (surprisingly) focused pics....

kidding

your bench top in the last picture looks like the dog has been trying to dig through it.I actually used some of the same material to line the trays in my tool boxes, works great, cheaper than the commercial tray liners, and cheap as hell when it is time to replace it!!

Actually that was a glycol spill that soaked through the carpeting, shredded it, and is eating at the bench. REpairs forthcoming..Smile

Very nice Curt! I think this is your best guide yet and I might actually try removing tubes from my 6PG just for practice since it's not in use. Thanks so much for continually sharing your knowledge and time with us. You have provided lots of help to me in the past and it's much appreciated. I suddenly feel compelled to become a paying member of your site. I promise to do that this week. I find that I'm spending more time here than on that other site if you know what I mean.

Very Nice,

Almost makes me wish I had a NEC to tear apart and put back together.

Good pictures too.
