Huh? I would think that any run of the mill PC solution would do that. Smile

the thing is, I have one and my wifes cousin is bugging me for it.
You put it on the output of a DVD to feed that to a VCR and out to a tv. without this the signal is messed up.
is there any real value in me keeping it?
i cannot see one at the moment but hate to get rid of things only to find that i need it later.
That is my sickenss.....

cool, If I ever need one I'll get that. I gave the thing away.
Mine had Svideo too.
I bought it in Japan in 1999. worked great.
The cousin is transferring 300 odd video tapes to DVD....

I built one back in 1995, it was great. Did sharpening and even S-Video!!

Cost was $50 for the kit

It actually cleaned up the signal pretty well. My old LCD projector used to hate Macrovision. One of the most ridiculous copy protection methods ever implemented. Caused way more trouble than it stopped copying. A bit like HDCP!!!
