I just got an e-mail from amazon.com about these discs. They are content shown on HD net

Bikini Destinations, HD net reports, space shuttle launches, Get out!, Art Mann presents, Smart travels(w/ Rudi Maxa) All in HD on Bluray. HDNet is one of my favorite channels, it looks gorgeous, and now i can get them on B/R

SCORE! Thumbs Up

Or even better:

Us THIS link and search for "HDNET" and a small percentage of what you spend goes to paying towards the monthly server costs of running this forum. (Completely invisible and doesn't cost you any extra!) Smile

I'm sure it's a label/licensing/BS/legal issue, but DAMN I wish HDNet could release some of their live concert productions on BD/HD - some of them are damn good. The look and sound awesome - especially for off DirecTV. They're probably amazing off HD/BD. I'd probably buy at LEAST half a dozen of them. Peter Frampton, Collective Soul, Jefferson Starship, Crash Test Dummies, Perry Farrell, Black Crowes, Rusted Root, U2, Third Eye Blind, Sheryl Crow... all stuff I've seen recently or is coming up on HDNet.

It would make excellent demo material.

Hey Kal, I remember you talking about ordering off Amazon.ca vs. ordering off Amazon.com saying you could get better pricing. How did that work exactly, and can we still go through Curt's amazon link to get there?

Actually I was saying the opposite! I was telling all Canadians to order movies from .com as the pricing is so much better than .ca it's not even funny - so use the links provided above!

I had a good Blu-ray day... 6 movies from Amazon.com and one from Ebay arrived today! Smile
