I know it's been asked before but I can't find it. What's the trick to this?
TIA.

IF I understand what your asking correctly, it's just simply a matter of pressing TEST/adjusting convergence with your external signal ON and selected.

Really? Ohhh yeah. Of course.
What I meant to ask ( I know your not a mind reader ), is how do you adjust to an external source? Like having the video esentials DVD test patterns up? Not showing the internal patterns.

Oh ok.. once you have your external pattern displayed, and are in serviceman mode, press TEST or any other convergence button quickly. Of course you will see the internal pattern. Then, HOLD TEST for about 5 seconds, and you will see the external pattern again, but you will be able to select through the various convergence controls. You will see the adjustment mode and values displayed as before, just on top of the external pattern. Only thing you will not see is the particular ZONE position highlight as before. You will have to memorize those lol(as if you probably haven't already)
