I think I might have a problem,

When I go to tweak the zone on my G70 I make sure that all of the adjustment numbers are even numbers, however when I adjust any of the other settings odd numbers don't seem to bother me as much. Does anyone else have this problem, I feel like I need to start going to a support group.

I almost wish I had my Marquee back, it doesn't have all these numbers for me to worry about Wink

Dude... That's pretty weird. What the hell difference does it make whether the numbers are odd or even? I've been accused of being completely OCD about stuff before, but that's even weird to ME.

Now, as long as you can still enjoy movies and you don't have to hop on one foot once and do a pirouette whenever you turn the projector on and off... I guess it doesn't matter that much.

Still, it kind of concerns me that you're worried about what number the zone setting falls on rather than whether the zone is actually converged the best it can be. On my old 1271, one click is always better than another (it's never a toss-up), so I'm wondering if you're not sacrificing convergence just to get those even numbers. THAT would be irrational.

Ecrabb,

No worries, my focus isn't dialed in enough that I can really tell a difference between an odd and even number... Yet

Jask,

I'd like to get a second opinion on that Wink I'M EVEN

I guess on a basic level I've been doing this subconsciously to try to combat my oddness. Smile

I have a mild case, if there is no visible difference I shoot for say 65 instead of 63, or 70 instead of 72. It's kinda like contrast or brightness, you will probably not see anyone using 71 or 59 or 47...

The thing I get anal about is having static at zero, Heaven forbid I use the remote.
