Hi guys,

A couple of questions:

1. Can anyone tell me if there is any device around that would allow me to convert the RGB output from an EXT HD to a component connection.

Sadly I only have 1 component input that is capable of putting out 1080i on my rear projector TV.

I have 1 x DVI-I as well as 1 x VGA but these are limited to 720P.

2. Does anyone know of a good switch for overcoming a single component input.

I have a couple of devices that I would like to hook up to this TV but as menioned above, only one input that will allow a full 1080 res. to be displayed.

Just found this link and wondered if anyone could confirm that it (or something like it) could be hooked up to the output of an EXT HD to get me to my TV!

I used a Pelican switcher on my old Mitsubishi, it only had one component input capable of 1080i too.
PL0970 was the model number.
