Wouldn't you know it. first day of Christmas vacation. The pj is running but the image keeps bumping up and down. I've not seen this problem in a AmPro before. I know there's a code to list the HV restart count but I can't remember it. I first noticed it a couple of days ago as a very occasional blink, up and down about a inch. Now it's doing it once or twice a minute. One other observation was that when my wife turned on the system yesterday, the image was shifted to the right about 4 inches. It was only that memory location that had shifted but all show this bumping so there might be two problems. When I get home from work, I'll pull and check the CPU for a battery check. Self test registers System OK.
Thanks and Merry Christmas

Little HV discarges, like tiny arcs, tend to make the picture jump vertically. Just to eliminate one thing try turning off the registration and see if that makes any difference. Try a different source. Something might be crapping out on the vertical bd.
The code numbers are listed in the help menu.

Scottie hit the nail on the head. Pete's got me so wound up with his AmPro rants that I have a tendency to expect the worst when ever my baby has a cough. It was source related and ended up being a bad connection on one end or the other of a breakout cable between the switcher and my Sony HD SAT. This is not the first time something like this has happened to me. I think it's a good idea to re-seat all RGBHV connections at least once a year just to insure the contacts are clean.
Thanks Scott
