1st unit. Got my BG 808 working for almost two months now,replaced the V board with a Data808 V.board.Been using it daily.First time to experience EM focus pj,usually see these sharp images from HTshowrooms in the 90s. Am almost delirious.
2nd unit, to be completed,bg801 with cracked green crt neck,replacement green crt already here in Manila Philippines,thought it would take a while to get a good 07Msp but was fortunate enough to get one in four months.
Also have a nec 9pg,the first series.Bought these as a dead set for 200 dlrs here in Manila.Bought it because there are just almost visible rasters.But found out later ,there are very short vertical hairline burns on top of each three tubes.I ordered for three 8508 crt right away,even if the spot burns are far from the raster borders,and also ordered for the system board,point b,wave b,def board,c drive b and f board.replaced the power supply boards also,all came from working units i believe.
My problem is, i dont know anyone here who can help me adjust the trimmers on the def board to help it sync with 480p and above signals.The pj starts up nicely and projects 480i images well,but with rgb inputs, it goes awry.
Based on the stamp marks,all the boards came from 6pgs,So i was wondering why the def and system board wont sync. (must have come from different units).the wave board came friom a runco and the point seems like a 6pg plus(maybe).
What is the best thing to do to get it to sync,and accept 1080p without me mesiing up the adjustments on the def boards.Does anyone suspect a bad system board?
