ok guys i have been searching so dont kill me on my first post well i am new to crt but not new to ht. i have a 9100 9pg plus. i am trying to get her setup and even on the green initial screen sometimes it is jumbeled where its hard to read the inputs. also once yall help me with that ill have more setup questions. i got the pj from a guy that bought it from curt. looks to be in good shape and i have watched the grinch with it a few times, or actually my kids have as ive been painting and all. so ill need to get it setup and then work on getting it converged and all. please help a newb out.

Turn off the the red and blue and just leave the green on if you are trying to read something.

it only has light coming from the grn. its like its scrambled sometimes. other times its fine which leads me to think its a loose connection. when its bad its rly bad.

Sounds like that the system board could be failing, but do you have a live signal going into the set? If not, chances are good you'll get the scrambled menus.
Here's a guide that will help. It's for the XG, but you can use it for the PG as well.

well ive had a lil dvd player hooked to it. but ill double check next time. im trying to get it setup for the superbwl. and i am anxious to watch 300 on it

ok cool. also what about the acat? is that decent? i know i need to learn how to do this its just a bit overwhelming at first. wont take me long im just a lil freaked out about really jacking somethign up lol

no no i get a color picture when i turn the dvd player on a put a movie on. im just talking about the setup screen. its grn like its supposed to be but its jacked up looking ill try to get a pic to post up
