Guys!
I love Phoenix here, but I would not venture out at night in an armored SUV, let alone a folding powered bicycle.......from Craigslist:
"Ever had one too many to drive? Call Zingo Arizona and your driver arrives on a folding motorbike, folds it, bags it, puts it in your trunk, takes your keys and drives you and your car home. Check us out at www.zingoaz.com.
We are a young, progressive company who is sponsored by Budweiser locally, and we're looking to make a difference in the community and hopefully eliminate the #1 reason people choose to drink and drive...because they want their car at home when they wake up.
Zingo Arizona is now hiring safe drivers who are at least 23 years of age or older and have a clean driving record for the last 5 years.
To start, drivers are paid $10/hour, plus tips. As business grows, drivers will be paid a percentage of the rides that they do (sliding scale based on volume to increase your earnings potential above and beyond the $10/hour rate), plus all tips that they receive (potentially lucrative in this business).
For consideration on this amazing opportunity, please contact Kyle at (480) 217-xxxx"
As though some drunken babbleing idiot will give a generous tip. Or remember which car is his, or where he freakin' lives. And, yes, they are a "young, progressive company" as there are no "old" (living) Zingo drivers to be found anywhere.
This is truly an Amazing Opportunity, we are talking Closed Coffin most likely.......I was wondering what those red splats on Scottsdale Road were..........Blam...........so, is Anheiser Busch prepared to help send idiots to their death so Budweiser avoids the bad publicity.......?

Oh yes, I have many memories (at least I think they are real memories) of drinking in Phoenix. Fortunately I was a little older and somewhat responsible when I went to college and never actually drove home when I was still sh*t-faced drunk.
I'll be quite happy to never drink another long island ice tea again. Every bar seemed to have their own dirt cheap pitcher special on these.
Is the drinking age still 18 down there or did they finally raise it to 21?

So lemme get this straight...
I get to tool around on a folding mini bike... the girls really go for those
then i get to deal w/ some smashed drunk.... thats always fun...
corral them, get the keys, find their car, find out where they live, deal w/ their crap... drive them home
Then off on the foldo bike to the next adventure.....
all this for 10 buck an hour plus tip?!?!?!?
Conservatives may be right, thats a job americans dont want.

What would suck is to get fired from that gig for drinking on the job.

Hmm.... Here's a reference Tim will get: I was designated driver recently at a Phoenix bachelor party: The night ended with me wrestling one of the groomsmen into my rented minivan (practical, comfortable, guaranteed NOT to land a bridesmaid) in the parking lot of the Great Alaskan Bush Company.

I'd do it. Sounds like a blast. I'm already a suicidal scooter rider, so tackling a drunk would be just another thrill.
