What F'ing planet are these people from? Do they do the slightest bit of research before they list stuff, or do they just pull a number out of their ass? What is that number, their mortgage payment?
I can appreciate wanting to get top dollar for something, and I can even appreciate the "there could be somebody out there - all it takes is one" line of thinking. At the same time, generally when I put stuff on fleabay or up for sale, it's because I ACTUALLY intend to sell it. Otherwise, the whole thing is a waste of time... which is what that listing is.
That projector wasn't even that much brand new... TWENTY F'ING YEARS AGO!
The only explanation I can think of just pure, unadulterated ignorance - bordering on complete stupidity.

Just for fun, somebody needs to send a nice message to him on fleabay and tell him it's only worth $100 - on a good day - just so we can see what the response is. Post it here for fun. I'd do it, but I'm on the way out the door.
