I have a 700 on its way that should be here Monday. This particular Projector will not power on according to the seller.
HE claims it worked fine last summer but after taking it out of storage to sell it, it would not power up. I'm hoping its a fuse and have read Curt's troubleshooting section. I have been reading the forums every day to educate myself more on projectors and although I'm new I am confident as a 10 year electronics tech that I can work on this beast. I have read that this system should sit at my home for a day before trying to power it on. What sort of advice could everyone give me toward getting this projector up and running. Thanks in advance.

TV/Projector: All of them!

Let us know when you get it. Chances are the SMPS is dead, pretty common now for a 14+ year old set, but most repairs are pretty easy on them.
