Hi everyone.... New to the forum here.
I have a NEC 6 PG+ with a bunch of hours on it. -although I can't recall right off the top of my head.
The tubes are a little bit worn from all the hours, but I am still satisfied with the picture.
Anyways, I was curious to see if Curt would take the 6+ on a trade-in as I possibly would like to step-up a notch (while remaining in the "intermediate" level. Maybe a 9+. Something that will do 1080p
what about selling the projector in this condition on Craigslist then buying one from Curt.. Realistically what should I be asking, and where should the value be on a trade.
TIA

So why not email and ask?
Seriously though, it's probably worth more as parts than selling it complete. I always advise that the best way to sell a working projector is to a friend that has always wanted a setup like yours. You might get $750 if you help a friend install it.
Sales are pretty darn slow for something like the PG sets, esp. with worn tubes. They are getting under $150 on eBay in as is shape. The setup remote is valuable as are the boards
I can always offer you something as trade in, but I'd get you to strip the unit down and just send me the boards. It's not worth even the shipping charges at this point to send it as a complete unit.

Hah, Well I figured you were just like me, With your real email address pasted all over a large website, I figured you would never answer. Nevermind finding it between the spam.
Alright, cool that works. I'll be contacting you for a set at some point, sans the whole "trade-in" idea.
