The dims on this model are only very roughly accurate, but generally speaking, am I correct in thinking that I can just run 3/8-16 threaded rod right into the holes on the case, as shown here, or do I need to do something more involved?

Thank you.

Yep, thats exactly right.
I was going to do that but i did away with the cross pieces closest to the projector and my rods go into the PJ and right up into the top piece of Unistrut.
I made a quick and dirty aim adjustment system for the back. and the front pieces are fixed at the height i want the PJ. It requires that the top unistruts are exactly in line with the PJ bolt holes.
I'll take a picture of the install for you if you want.

I recently did the same thing with my 9501. The only difference is that I mounted a hoist in the ceiling. I believe my screws are about 13" apart and everything is fine.

Nice setup Jay.

I do believe that is a Harbor Freight hoist is it not? If it is, I have the same one. Thumbs Up When I finish using it for my boat restoration project, I now know what it's next use will be. Mr. Green

Now, to get started, I just have to cut a nice big hole in the ceiling. Shocked Where's that sawzall? Evil or Very Mad
