Hi, Very Happy

I have br909 problems, all remote control are locked, and there is only one internal block. I can only control my 909 with "barcoexplorer" program.

1- do you know how to do for unlock it?, Barco explain that it is possible to do it with rs232 comunication protocol, but I have not barco software to do it.

2- can somebody send me file copy from all blocks of one BR909 ?

3- is there somebody who succeed in doing barco eprom upgrade Question

Best regards

Thierry

You should ask Mike Parker. He's also experienced with these beasts!

909 / Cine9 eprom upgrade is NOT the same as all other digital chassis Barcos.

There are only a couple of people I know able to do 909 / Cine9 eprom upgrades and NONE of those are available to "joe public".

the 909 does NOT use an eprom swop.

1209s and below are able to have new eproms installed in place of the old one.

Each block is created when a new signal style is sent to the PJ.

Remote issue - have you set the remote to talk to the PJ - often the remote is not set to control the PJ.
You need to set the PJ ID and the remote ID to be the same.

Although this is offtopic: yes, the remote will also work on a 1209s. If it does not seem to work, press the recessed button with a Pencil. The 1209s should then display its address on screen. If it is 0, press QUICKLY 0 on the remote. It should then work like it should...

If the wired control (remote attached to the set) will not turn the set on, the problem is not settings.

The wired control will not operate if certain things are not on par in the projector. RS232 control should allow you to look at the voltage/diagnostic menu and see what readings are in there.

There are two different version of the G2/Diagnostic board. Shoot me a PM with the part number on the diagnostic board along with the diagnostic readings.

Firmware upgrades and IR settings are not related to this problem.

Problem solved, Very Happy
it was a lock of IR, not need Barco programs, we need direct access to RS232, and then send the protocol Barco adapted to the machine.

But others problems see: Confused

If that was a normal projector I'd say the Video Output amplifier is blown, on blue at least. But the 909 doesn't run a standard off the shelf Video Output Amplifier chip.

I also 8)

I show the solution without the money it costs.
Je pense 150 €, ce n'est pas de demander raisonnablement Thierry.

You need eventghost.

Add serial plugin
new makro
Serial / Write Add
\x02\x00\x00\x50\x7f\x00\x00\x00\xcf register as described
and to execute press

Thats all......

Hello, Josef.

Do not be bad player Josef Wink

I had bought to you barco 808s Convergence part for 117 euros.
This card was little failure, I had to send it into the technical-station for adjustment. Crying or Very sad

Recently you contacted me to repair a BR909 controller, I have proposed to repair it for 100 euros and not 150, with a payment only after repair.

This is a proposal and not an obligation.

I am open to the dialog and always ready to render service.

Regards

Thierry
