I am using hdfury with ps3 and cine7. I can get the ps3 to display all resolution except 1080i. Therefore there is no issue with cabling since it does display 720p and 1080p. I know the cine7 can display 1080i because it can sync to my computer. Whenever i try 1080i with ps3, the screen loses signal . Anyone experienced this?

What input port are you using ? No reason I can think of why 1080i shouldn't work ?

i am using RGBVH input. Like i said, all resolution 720p, 1080p via ps3 hdfury works except 1080i. Anyone with barco 708 or cine7 experienced this?

I bet it's a sync issue.... since you said 1080i/60 works on the Cine7 from a PC but not from the PS3.

Try input three if you have the proper adapter cable .

there is no input three for cine7, only RGBHV input. Is it possible that 1080i for ps3 is using negative or positive sync and barco cine7 is the reverse? Is there anyway i can wire the RGBHV cable to reverse the sync instead? thanks.

Sry, I have a 708s, but not the PS3 yet. But 1080i works from my upscaling DVD, and from my HD+ at 50/60/72/75 Hz, this is even starting with default PAL porch settings, which apparently is freakish, the default PAL porch settings that is.

From what I have read is that last years firmware for PS3 did have problems with the 1080i resolution. So have you upgraded your firmware?
