I have found that maths can solve many of lifes trivialities, and here's one I prepared earlier!
Projector went on the blink
Curt helped me diagnose and fix it from the other side of the world.
Wanted to upgrade from M8000 to M8500
Curt had the parts
Wanted colour filtered lenses
Barry (Joust) fixed me up there
Wanted HDMI
Thanks Mr Moome

Thus, as stated earlier, Curt + Barry + Moome = Happiness ( well contentness anyway )

I now have my M8000/M8500 hybrid with Hd144's, everything working, HDMI running 1080p with no sweat and am about to sit down to watch all 6 Star Wars back to back. The picture is outstanding, and (dare I say it on this forum)

I am happy and require no further upgrades or toys.

Somebody shoot me for saying that...

Thank you to all these gentlemen who helped make my life a little nicer!

Cheers

I to think it is pretty cool how the contributions to this forum do indeed come from around the world. This is probably a DIY hobby that wouldn't be possible w/out the internet and such a forum.

Thanks as well. 8) 8)

Thumbs Up

I can say without any hesitation I would be watching a measley 40-50" crappy flatscreen right now if it were not for many of whom are in this forum.
In terms of "no upgrades or toys" - give it time.........you will see more light.
