I was given a 1995 Seleco SVT 190. I figured out how to set it up and have done so several times. It has been quirky about just loosing picture sometimes, but turning it off then back on has fixed that in the past. I've read the notes listed on the site and yes there is a red led above the on light in the back. There are also red LEDs on two boards I can see in the bottom of the console. I don't know if they are new with this issue. I surmise from my reading here I have an HV scan failure. I am less than an amature, but I am a tinkerer. Is it worth my time and money to try to fix this unit by sending the boards in, find a repairman near me, or sell it for parts and find the next most cost effective option. I have fallen in love with my projection size of TV, but I am on a limited budget. I am willing to learn, I can't pay for a teacher. For example, my sound hook up is a Sony Boom Box with woofer and suround that I bought at a garage sale. PS the cassete and CD don't work on the setup. But I am already missing my big screen.
