Does anyone know how to reset the hours on these projectors? I went into the service menu and did the reset everything option.
However that didn't do it. The projector powered off, I turned it back on and the hours were still there.
Projector was made in 2010

There is a hidden way to do it that only a handful of people know how to do that worked for the company. I do not think anyone is going to tell you but they may over a service to do it for you. Tim and Curt must know about this.

What virusc said.
The hours meter is to show the life of the projector, just like the odometer in the car. You can't (or shouldn't) reset it as you haven't replaced every part in the projector.
If you were maybe thinking it would be useful to reset it after replacing the tubes, it isn't. CRT projectors aren't like digitals where the bulbs get run down at a somewhat controlled rate. The number of hours on CRT projector tubes doesn't matter. What matters is how hard you pushed them. You can have visible burn in on CRT projector tubes after only a few hundred hours if you push them as hard as possible, or they could have none after 5-10K hours if used lightly. The only thing that matters is what they look like. See: https://www.curtpalme.com/TubeCondition_RatingChart.shtm
Why do you want to reset the hour meter?
