Abnormal high voltage. Bad PA board, or maybe a tube imploded, giving a false error message? I haven't seen that one before.

thanks curt, I've just had bad luck with stuff lately

I did read though the archive and determine the same thing, possible bad PA or PB board, not a hard fix, it also said something about a HV sensing line that was possibly unplugged (or has slight corrosion)

I just wanted to ask the group if there was anything someone experienced outside of those

I bought a working unit from a local guy, all I did was move it and install a moome 1.4 HDMI card into it, so I ruled out my tampering. However, I can see how a move could possibly work something loose

I've managed to get the unit installed on the ceiling and really really don't want to take it down, that and it is a very high-quality unit when operating

EDIT
I does appear the PA board had a short, while i see no definite tell tale burned component, scorch marks genuinely are not a good sign, and no telling if the PB board is good either, I've tabled the issue until i find someone who wants to part with a donor unit
