Is there a device that is able to take a 4k signal in, and output 4 1080p signals in an array?

We have a 2x2 video wall (1080p monitors) that we'd like to be able to utilize the full resolution by displaying a 4k video. We are currently using a 1x4 hdmi splitter, which works, but are only able to send it 1080p signals. When we send it 4k, the TV's show "no signal" (I assume because it takes 4k in and sends upscaled 4k out).

I know that there are video wall processors, but I'm trying to find something simpler. Sorry if this doesn't make sense. I'll be happy to clarify where I can. BTW. im posting this in multiple places because I'm not sure where I'd get the most help.

Hi! There are many that will take a 4K input and split the image into 4 x 1080p signals for you to arrange on 4 displays any way you like. Some examples:
