Still trying to setup my 909 properly.

Spend 10 hours working on it today, and have gotten a bit further with it, but now it won’t start.

The projector was up and running, but I needed to copy a memory block, only problem was that you can only copy to whatever source your on, and that was the block that I wanted to copy from. So I switch the source off, and the projector screen went black, and the projector became unresponsive. Turned it off using the remote control, but it refused to turn back on. Tried switching it on an off at the power switch, and even unplugging the kettle lead, and nothing. Won’t switch on from its onboard control either. The onboard control does flicker when I try to use the remote, but the projector just won’t do anything.

Help!!![/i]

There's a green LED on the sub board on the main SMPS. Is that nice and bright? If so, there's a reasonable chance that the controller board has gone bad. HAd that happen to one of mine over the weekend as well.

But try this: Press down the little unmarked button on the projector keypad and press 0,0,0. Do the same on the remote. That will reset the addresses to 0. If you're lucky, it will start working again.

If not, send me the controller and the SMPS for testing.

Look on the main site under BArco 1209s/909 for the download of the module and parts layout.

Had some more free time today. Projector fired up straight away, so it’s working again for the time being...
