Wow. I knew CD sales were down, but I had no idea they were almost dead. I guess nobody buys physical media any more.

Look at the TOTAL of media sales, physical and digital, vs 20 years ago -- it's less than half as much. No wonder artists are starving.

Staggering to see it like this. I have not subscribed to streaming whatsoever. I buy CDs still.
