Hi all,

when I had my Barco 808, I pulled some mA of standby power from the remote-control port to illuminate some LEDs.

Now I'm wondering if I can do the same with the G90. Studying the service manaual back-and-forth it seems there is no off-the-shelf possibilty with the available ports. There's 12V on the Trigger port, but with a high resistance in series and only when the projector is running.

There should be a standby power rail somewhere where I could eventually grab that voltage (probably a 12V rail). But I can't figure out where.

Anybody who can give me a hint? Thanks!

Hi,

Look for the SUB6V generated on the GB board. This should be present at Stand-by as it powers the infrared receiver. Otherwise, use the SUB6V or the 12V from the trigger output for switching an external power supply using a solid state relay.
