There is small portion of the video signal that is missing in the top and bottom off the picture. (PG no blanking)
Be happy if you can help me solving that issue?
My chain is
Dune base HD (streamer) HDMI– Audio design associate suite 7.1 HD (A/V Pro) HDMI – lumagen XD – splitter (HDCP) –HDMI TO DVI breakout cable –lumagen HDQ –5 BNC to barco 1209g.
I have installed the BARCO with the internal patterns.
Now it’s time for external.
I have set the resolution as follow:
Dune set to 1080p 24Hz resolution
Lumagen XD set to output 1080P 24Hz.
Lumagen HDQ set to output 1080P 50Hz.

WAY too complicated. With two lumagens in series, I'm not at all surprised that you're having issues.
I'd suggest you get an HDMI input board for your projector. This will greatly simplify matters. Then you can use the HDQ or the XD and won't need the other, and won't have to deal with the complexity of two units in series.
The HDQ will output 1080p-72 and that is what you want to use. It takes a little more bandwidth but it'll be flicker free and is an integer multiple of the 24 FPS native frame rate of the source material. I think even 48 Hz refresh would look better than 50 just because of the elimination of judder at the rate of 2 FPS.
I can't say much about the individual settings that would be interacting with two Lumagens run in series, but I absolutely would expect such a system to interact in strange ways and it might take a bit of troubleshooting in the settings of both units to figure out how to eliminate the problem.
You would also be better off to set all units at the same output resolution. If the Dune will do 1080P-72 then set it for that, and set the Lumagen(s) for the same. The best scaling and frame rate conversion is NONE if the original source is good enough.
I see what you're doing. Using the different features of both Lumagens to eventually get the signal into your projector over analog RGB. I wasn't sure that would work due to Lumagen's handling of HDCP issues.

The max resolution that the dune have is 1080p 60hz
When I work with the dune at 1080i there is no missing at all.
I solve the Hdcp problem with an HDMI splitter between the lumagens
I will buy an HDMI buildin card for my Barco
But until then I will be happy to find a way to get full picture at 1080p
I think that with playing with the potches at the lumagen I can solve the problem
But I don't know with which value should I play.

Why are you running a PG at 1080p at all? That's far too high for those tubes to resolve, and it's hard on the old chassis too. Run 720p max on this set.

Since 4 years I was able to get 1080p 50Hz. With great picture.
Moved to a new apartment and old setup was lost.
I'm think that with the correct timing porches on lumagen I will be able to have a full picture

Try it at 720p. I really think Curt is right and you'll get a better picture at 720p than 1080p with that unit. No doubt you have scanline overlap, which will soften the image slightly.

Guys, SPL800 have a Barco Graphics 1209 with HFQ lenses. Not a NEC-PG.
I think he wanted to say PJ (projector).

Is not so, that in order for a scaler to output progressive, the incoming signal must be interlaced ?
He should let only the last scaler in the chain (HDQ) outputting 1080P, while his Dune and XD at 1080i. Else, the signal is destroyed twice.
