I want to distribute the video signal from Chromecast or Apple TV over a CAT5 network, so (like for other video sources) I have a HD Fury 2 to convert the HDMI signal to Component, which is converted to ethernet with a smart-e device and distributed over the house. This is working fine for my satellite receivers. But when I plug in the Chromecast or Apple TV 3 in the HD Fury, no signal on TV.

So I did the following test. I have the Chromecast and Apple TV 3 working fine when connected directly the the TV. I took the HD Fury 2 from the existing installation, and connect the Apple TV with the HD Fury 2 (shows a blue light) and plug the Component cables in the TV. Nothing happens on the TV. I have set the Apple TV output to 780p, but still no video signal on the TV.
Any clues?

Thanks a lot,
Erik

Most likely the HDCP code within the Fury isn't up to date. I just had the same issue with an old LCd projector that had a DVI input. In that case Apple TV worked, but Netflix on the Apple TV didn't.

Also, are you using the AC adapter with the Fury2? that's mandatory.
