I've recently bought a nice set of tubes for Sony G70, although I don't have G70, but I have two burnt tubed NEC PG xtra. My intention is to resurrect one PG xtra with the G70 LC tanks / tubes. I was curious about this deal because I've heard so many times that the scheimpflug system on the newer sony projectors are so great, which I cannot say from the NEC XG's LC design what I also own...
So for my question, I've looked the sony manual but found little information how to set the scheimpflug on it. I see there are two screw on the front plate those rotating the large cogwheels (spacers), but which screw do what? Also general instuctions are welcome how to set it best. Also, is there anything I need to fasten / loosen when I want to adjust scheimpflug or can I just simply set without any preparation?
