Does anybody have any ideas about a temporary V fail. The unit goes dark then it recovers. I have tried replacing the vert board and it acts the same way. This happens maybe once or twice during a movie.
It is losing the high voltage but I am not hearing a HV arc the pic just goes away then returns and the V fail light is on until it recovers.
Thanks Gerry

Reseat the DPM, the deflection processor module that sits on the CLM (main processor board) and push down hard with your thumb on all socketed chips on all boards. It sounds like a bit of oxidation on a contact somewhere, very common with MArquees.

Do you have fluorecent lights in the house? I had this with both of my marquees and noone knew the answer.
Try switching the room lights on and off while having the projector connected to your usual source..
If its the same with yours the picture will go dark for 1-2 seconds when switching the lights.
In my case it was something about mains earth via the VGA PC connection, but could be anything similar.
It absolutely drove me nuts i even forbid my girlfriend to switch the lights on and off while i did the projectors setup.
Sounds strange, but try it.
Regards, Julian
