I have a barco cine 7 that dosent turn on, the sf led is on, 9v is off, 17v is turning off then on. The hthd led is off. On the deflection board two of the red led are on for 2 seconds then off then on. Ticking sounds is comming from the smps every half a second and after 10 to 20 sec the ticking goes and the cycle led blinks. Is it the problem with voltage or is it the hv or the deflection board?

I sold the projector for parts a few months after i gave up trying to fix it. I bought the projector from eBay for $250 but i got a full refund after complaining the projector blew up after a short time during testing.

I recall it made a loud bang before a horrible smell escaped from the projector, probally with some smoke. The picture was shaking before the incident but i was never able to find out what blew up.
