A friend of mine is looking for a 5 disk CD changer. Older guy, not on the internet. He did does own allot of MP3 CD-R's though.

I'm guessing he'll probably need a 5 disk DVD changer for the MP3 compatibility. Anyone have a recommendation for a good one? Brand name better or off-brand? So who makes/made the best one? Model number(s)?

Thanks!

Why that? Today every smartphone plays mp3 with multi GB memory built in. Even worn out models would do constantly plugged in to charger, without SIM card etc. Oh, and one other word: iPod.

No good. Not what I asked for.

He has no PC, no smart phone, and a huge collection of MP3 CD's/standard CD's. He's not interested in iPods and the like. Hence the reason I'm asking for the best 5 disk changer.
Stay on topic. Don't confuse matters with newer technology. Laughing

I think the challenge is going to be to find one that works. You can't find a new old stock one on eBay? Last time I checked (2 years ago) there were still a few around.

CD players is one thing I never take from the recycler. No market for them, and they are $$$ usually to repair.

Yeah, I've found two so far but both have issues
