I have a G90 w/ IFB-full HD v3 1.4 card 3D and an OPPO 93, can I do 3D with this using a 3D-Theatre + universal RF
glasses w/ emitter. If this works, will I be able to go between 2D and 3D easily?

Yes. I'd suggest setting the 3D-Theater to 720p120Hz (60Hz per eye) to avoid flicker. 720p60Hz will flicker. 3D-Theater PLUS does 1080p60, but again, I'd avoid using 60Hz on a CRT projector for 3D. It also supports some refresh rates between 60 and 120 but your G90 can do 120 so there's no point in spending the extra money.

To order the 3D-Theater & glasses, see: http://www.curtpalme.com/3DTheatre.shtm

If you absolutely want 1080p, you'll need a Radiance Video processor (not the 3D-Theater). When used together with a Radiance video processor, the IFB-FULLHD v3 HDMI card allows 3D movies, games, and other content to be viewed on your Sony CRT projector. The Radiance does the processing to convert the 3D signal into something your Sony CRT projector can understand and display, while the IFB-FULLHD v3 HDMI card interfaces with and controls your 3D glasses. Enjoy 3D at 720p120Hz (same as the 3D-Theater) or even at custom resolutions like 1080p75Hz. The Radiance is here: http://www.curtpalme.com/Radiance.shtm

Any Infrared (IR) Active Shutter glasses ( http://www.curtpalme.com/IRGlasses.shtm ) or Radio Frequency (RF) Active Shutter glasses ( http://www.curtpalme.com/RFGlasses.shtm ) that include an emitter will work with the IFB-FULLHD v3 card as long as the emitter has the standard 3-pin DIN connector.

The 3D-Theater solution makes the most sense unless you also want some of the advanced features of the Radiance and/or want to do auto-calibration too.

It's not just "flicker" at 60hz,
3D with 120hz appears in an "almost simultaneous" way ( compared to sub 100hz 3D) ,
if you cut 60hz-75hz in half there will be gross temporal displacement between eyes, consequently motion portrayal will be useless, so one prime CRT advantage is effectively nulled.

120hz is not that great either , bc. such temporal displacement is still present.
(It's a waaaay sub optimal method of 3D from CRT standpoint.)

Good news is that 720p 3D at 120hz, looks way better than 2D 720p, I'd say , 40% better,
so effectively you see 1.4x as many pixels, it's 720p per se, yet it looks worlds better than ordinary 720p.

Craig is running 3D on his G90. You might want to give him a PM.
