Found a 1292 for sale locally. I'm not really interested in the projector, but are there any parts that would be of interest? Lenses anything good? Not sure of the condition of tubes, but poster says machine is working. That's all I know at this point. Been out of the CRT game for awhile. Just thought I'd check.

Crabby,
The only thing that seems to be of interest on those is the red C-Element and the focus coils for Frankenyokes. I've had a 1292 part out here with minty tubes for a couple years now. Focus coils and red C-Element sold right away. Green C-Element and 10F lenses had a little interest but no takers at very low prices. No interest at all on the tubes which I found odd because you can't get them anywhere.

ok buys.....I bought her....picking up tomorrow night.....gotta tell the wife another
projector is coming home....need to prep......also screen is not real screen....it is a painted piece of wood. However it is free so i will not turn down free carpentry supplies. It has HD10F lenses. Aren't these the same as gt17's?

I'm just trying to get back into the game man. I took a 15 month vacation from all of this due to the wife's depression and he fathers cancer battle. It has sucked big time.....what happened to your projector?

Sold a bunch of stuff when I moved to Utah, including my projector. Banking coin to start a theater/basement finish, hopefully this winter. Depends on finances and if I can find somebody who wants to work on it over time instead of all at once.
I've been watching for a cheap 1080p digital to throw on the coffee table in the living room with a portable screen for movie nights, but the projectors on KSL are serious junk, and the occasional decent thing that comes up, people want stupid money for them.

ok....she's in the back of the burb.....it has a burned in menu image. Really good too...lol....But I just wanted the lenses and Red-C element. Got em.....chucking the rest unless Curt wants anything. Focus coils probably useless as no one does frankenyokes anymore. Won't lie.....this is my last parts machine.

Put just those yokes aside, they are not that big, believe me you can sell them.
Personally if I wouldn't already have a set, I'd be interested in those neckboards, hm... VPA15H chips, they are still good for the G70, or even the G90.

He is in New Mexico, but he has family in Utah. He emailed me last week and said he was up there visiting. I think he was staying with Crabb.

I wish I was in Utah last week.....hear it was nice weather. I was in Bakersfield CA. What a shithole that place is. Visiting father in law. But I am happy I have found this projector. C elements seem to be pricey. That prick Eisermann wants 1300 for one of the red C's.
