I have an NEC XG135 with a Moome DVI input card, the NEC periodically doesn't recognize the input as being valid and requires the usual power off/removal/reinsert/power on sequence to see it again (sometimes...)

I've tried:
Removing the bracket to ensure full insertion into the Euro Connector.
Zeroing all the input registrations and starting from scratch.
Chanting in a circle with chicken bones (well, maybe next if I can't figure this out...)

Anybody have any ideas? System board battery needs replacing perhaps?

take out the Moome board and run RGBHV into the set. I`ve had the Moome boards flake out on occasion, but it could also be the system board.

and everyone knows it needs to be turkey bones.. sheesh! Very Happy

I believe this is the same issue I had when I had an XG. The solution was to always power up my devices in the same sequence. When shutting off, turn the source off first and the XG last. When turning on, turn on the XG, select the DVI card, then turn on the source device (reverse order of turn on). It seemed as if there was a handshake that got messed up otherwise. I was glad I had a remote that could use a macro to be consistent.

Of course the macro included a turkey bone chant.

That is an issue i had with my MOOME external box, but ive never had a problem with my XG internal MOOME, it always locked straight on provided i had the set on the correct input, if not, one press of the button to select the right input and it was solved.
