I've got one of these projectors that I need a LCD panel for, its suffering from the known "yellow blotch" on the blue LCD panel. So my only option is to replace the panel itself.

So, I don't suppose any of you here have a VPL HS51/51A/60 that's dead or has the same problem? If you do I would like to purchase it for parts.

Otherwise, Mac I don't know if you browse this part of the forum often, but you wouldn't happen to know the LCD panel part #? Sony has some gray tape on the ribbon cable that's covering the part #

Blue panel part number is: A-1095-037-A

Sony shows it as discontinued and was 150.93
If you find a supplier that states no stock but available on special order, chances are they won't be able to get it unless they have a supplier somewhere with stock.
Happy hunting. Smile

Oh, and if there is a different part number inked on the film harness you can search by that number also.
