Hi Guys,
What would be a fair price to pay for a Marquee 9500LC. Tubes have under 1500 hours on them and look mint.
Thanks,

Curt is now giving away vision1's (fancy looking M9500LC) with good original tubes for $1500, with warranty and support. But that's in Canada/US.

$1500 isn't exactly right. Here is the post.

You would need to add $550 for a good green tube and don't forget you would have to transport the projector from Canada to Australia and thats not going to be cheap.

But you are going to know that the projector probable works and in my experience that is worth a lot of money Wink I bought a cheap Cine 9 and it has taken a lot of time and stress already. I would not hesitate to buy from Curt in the future.

LOL, no kidding. I bought a G90 last year and had Craig put a new Dallas chip in it. When we tested it, we found that the board was bad. Also, I had burned the red c-element in transport. Almost a waste, but the tubes were at least better than what I have now.

It's $1000 shipping for a 9" set. KM, the green tube in the sets I have are right around the 1500 hour mark, so you don't NEED to replace the green tube, there's lots of life left in them. Guaranteed that the one the OP is looking at does have a hint of wear. Also, his is a non Ultra (at least the way he posted. I don't even buy 9500 non Ultras any more at this point, as I have 15 Ultras in stock as it is.

To the OP.. if it's local to you, maybe $1000? guaranteed it will need some work. Maybe not parts replacements, but by the time you're done, you'll be into the set for 3-4 hours or so. With the sets I sell, that work has already been done.

If it wasn't for the $1000 freight I would buy from Curt.
This unit is on eBay Australia. How do you tell if its an Ultra?

Hello

Ultras are clearly labelled on the back panel and the label in front near the power cord. CLM main firmware will be 4.2c or higher; and serial numbers of Canadian-built units are 28xxxxxx or higher.

Marquee Model & Chassis Numbers

8000........38-P13082-93

8110........38-P11075-95

8500........38-P13085-95

8500LC.....38-P130LC-95

>>8500 Ultra.......38-P15285-98

>>8500LC Ultra....38-P152LC-98

9000LC......38-P13092-xx

9500LC......38-P13095-95

>>9500LC Ultra....38-P15297-xx and 38-P15298-xx

Units shipped with factory Acon end in 1 (as in 8501) with -AC in the chassis version, as in 38-P13095-A; units that are factory P43 green phosphor for stereoscopic display end in -ST. The 8500LC incorporates USPL 9" lenses from the HD-10-series and can be upfitted with nine inch CRTs later to give the performance of a 9500LC.
