Hello there,

I would like to control my Denon AVR-2309 by PC. The PC is the only source for video and audio, video via VGA to the projector and audio via HDMI to the AVR. Thus I do not see the OSD on my screen! Also I would like to place the AVR outside of the range of the IR remote control.

So far I have a USB - RS232 cable, PC and AVR. Is there some GUI for MS WIndows to opere the AVR and see it's status?

No need to suggest writing code to me - too stupid for that. Also I ried to understand some hints to using Eventghost, failed too. I really need someone to set it up for me or a simple failsafe tutorial. Plug and Play would be best.

Thanks
hansilili
