Im planning to buy new speakers for Full surround 5.1ch effects.i want to take full advantage of DTS HDMA audio Movies and Music Videos.Following are my quires
1 what kind of Sound card will be best
2 What kind of connection will be of Sound card and Speakers like HDMI,Coax,RCA
3 What is sound receiver and its benefits
PC config
2gb ram
2.88ghz dual core
1tb hard drive
1gb graphic card

Before you whip out your checkbook, you mentioned music videos. Depending on your budget, you may be happier with 2 great speakers than 5.1 speakers same total price.
This approach gets you into better equipment right now with the option of using the 2 speakers for front surrounds when you upgrade by adding the rears and front centers and sub.

thanks for reply i agree with u that 2 speakers will do great than what about sound card i want good music experience coz i have huge collection of FLAC music so i think high quality music require high quality hardware also so just suggest me good sound card and speakers

You need to be more specific for people to give you some good recommendations on sound cards, speakers, and possibly an AV receiver.

What kind of room will you be listening/viewing in? Is this a large dedicated theater, a smaller multi-use room, or a desktop system in a bedroom or office?

What's your budget for the whole thing? $500? $1000? $5000?
