|

Hello,
Is there a good instruction around for building a sync inverter for the BARCO G 808?
Seen this video but no idea what materials are needed...

Any help/pointers/manuals?
Thanks,

I had that problem with my Graphics 400.
The cure was the tiny circuit pictured.
Maybe you should try different resistor values or simply use trimpots to adjust the voltage your 808 needs.
The Transistor could be every NPN small signal type that is rated high enough for your scan rate.
e.g. 1080 lines times 60Hz is 64kHz. Nearly every transistor is usable.
Maybe you want to have something more comfortable, then try one of these:http://www.epanorama.net/circuits/vga2rgbs.html

edit:
Uhh, this is for CSync... maybe it is useful for you, too. But the simple sync inverter is this: http://www.twobits.com/RGB/sync.html
You need a 5V power supply (e.g. from a mobile phone). I would add a small electrolytic capacitor and a small ceramic capacitor between +5v and ground to avoid noise from the power supply.
