Hi all!
I am nosing around the processor market to see what's out there and what is affordable for what I want to do.
As it stands now I have the following input chain.
Source(Analog & digital[HDMI] > Onkyo TX-NR818 > 3D VIP > HDFury 3 > Zenith 1200x
Id like to get the most out of the 1200 and be able to adjust timings and get the image out of the area that "rings". I would like some color correction, but as it stands in the current setup I may not need a color calibration system. The Onkyo Receiver doesn't exactly scale that great, and won't scale the Bluray 1080p to 1080i(but I can set that on the player) so I would just like to have the Onkyo pass out whatever it is being fed. I would like to use the Onkyo as my input switcher.
I'm looking for something good yet affordable, Curt had recommended the Lumagen HDQ or HDP as an option. 3D isn't important to me and is mostly novelty if a Recommendation doesn't support pass through of 3D I can simply put a matrix switcher in and bypass the processor with the 3D VIP. Whatever I get must be able to be serial controlled.
I had looked at the Lumagen HD Mini as an option, but was wondering if there was a slightly cheaper option.
Any input/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
